Spacewar!

Spacewar! was the first computer video game ever created. The first implementation was on a DEC PDP-1 way back in 1962. Not having a PDP-1 around to play it on, I decided to get it running on my PlayStation. I found a Java PDP-1 emulator here and went about converting the emulator to run on a development PlayStation. After a few hours of dealing with 18-bit words and lots of octal constants, this is what I saw:

Without doing much optimization, the game seems to play at just about the right speed. It's fun, but I think I'll stick to 4 player GoldenEye for now...
